There are two birding tools you should always bring with you on a birding trip: bird Binoculars and birding guides.  Either birding tool can be the best instrument in your birding toolkit.

The inability to see the birds is the most undesirable thing that could occur to your on your bird watching excursion, but not being able to identify the birds you do see is sometimes even more painful to the avid birder.  If I was going on a birdwatching trip, I’d much rather have my birding binoculars with me than any other tool in my bird-watching toolkit.  the reason for this is that with the right pair of binoculars I can at least look at the birds.

However, the second most important tool for me to bring along on my birding trips is my birding guides.  Without a good birdwatching guide, it won’t even matter that I can see some birds because it is painful to see them and not know what they are.

Birdwatching guides will help you appreciate what it is you’re looking at, and birding binoculars will allow you to identify the birds once you see them.  Just imagine if you went to an aviary, or known hang-out for birds, but didn’t know what forms of birds were going to be there, or how you were going to identify them.  Even worse, imagine having good bird watching guides but not being able to see what you want to see because you don’t have good bird binoculars.

Birding is a great hobby, sport and educational experience, and it can be so much more or less, with the right birding guides and binoculars.  There are many times when I do not wish to do the homework of researching in advance the birds I’m about to view, and I just wish to go outside and enjoy nature.   However, I know that without good birding guides and binoculars with me, it’s almost not worth going
