Recognizing if you are pregnant will vary between women but everyone looks for the missed or delays of the monthly period. One of the most known symptoms is the nausea that happens mostly in the morning hours although some women experience this throughout their pregnancy. Some women never have this symptom but it normally lasts anywhere between two to eight weeks. Another usual symptom is lower back aches in early pregnancy and usually continues for the rest of the time as a dull ache. Hormonal changes may cause headaches in the early stages.

Having to urinate more than usual is another sign of pregnancy and this begins about six week after the conception. Cravings for certain foods will begin and signal that the woman is pregnant. Pickles combined with ice cream are the commonly known food craving that accompanies being pregnant but the cravings a pregnant woman does have may not be these but will continue until she gives birth. The most important thing to consider is that if you think you are pregnant there are many home tests you can use but the best thing for your safety and that of your baby is a visit to your doctor..
